Spencer Pollock quoted in The American Lawyer article: "For Small and Midsize Firms, Threats of Data Breaches Loom Large"

McDonald Hopkins Member Spencer Pollock was quoted in the April 20 edition of The American Lawyer in Justin Henry’s article “For Small and Midsize Firms, Threats of Data Breaches Loom Large.”

In the article, Pollock reveals his response to clients who wonder why cyber criminals come after them when they are not worth hundreds of millions of dollars:

“I tell them, ‘exactly–they know you don’t have resources to defend yourself.

“Small boutiques, while they don’t have that international footprint, they still have Fortune 50 companies,” Pollock said. “They don’t care about our internal documents; they care about our clients’ documents.”
