Spencer Pollock will be serving as a member of the faculty at the American Bar Association's Tips Section Conference April 27-30 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor. 

Pollock will feature as one of four speakers on the  "Nextgen Privacy: Going Above and Beyond PHI and PII Cybersecurity and Data Privacy" panel from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27. 

Topics will include government agencies and private companies collecting, storing, and using a host of information about individuals, including facial recognition and other biometric data. This panel will address the basics of what is biometric data, how it is collected, what it is used for, what are its limitations, how it can be misused, and the legal and ethical implications.
