In this on-demand webinar session, McDonald Hopkins Intellectual Property attorneys Todd Benni and Mark Masterson will lead a discussion with a panel of leaders in the medical device industry, to discuss how they managed to stay innovative during the COVID pandemic and what challenges and opportunities they feel will materialize post pandemic. Todd is a member and the chair of McDonald Hopkins' IP Prosecution and Management Practice Group. He assists clients with cost effective patent and trademark portfolio management, preparation and procurement of patents and trademarks, IP related due diligence, competitive analysis, new product clearance, and IP related agreements. Mark is a member and licensed patent attorney with a diverse practice that focuses on developing and executing strategic IP solutions for innovative companies and individuals, and identifying practical legal strategies to resolve IP related disputes in a cost-effective manner.

Harry Rowland, Co-founder and CEO at Endotronix. Dr. Rowland has led the company's operations, strategy, and technology development since inception. His vision has been integral in raising $100M in VC and strategic financing and building the company to 70+ people.

Maria Bennett, President, CEO and Founder of SPR Therapeutics. Maria founded SPR in 2010 and led the development of its novel pain relief technology to commercialization, funded by a series of responsible equity financings and grants and contracts. 

John Zak, Founder and CEO at XaTek. Dr. Zak is a serial entrepreneur who leads executive management for three different Cleveland-based medtech start-ups: XaTek, TecTraum and BioChip Labs. He provides each company with more than 30 years of experience as a clinician, investment professional and executive entrepreneur.
