The Akron chapter of the American Institute of Architects and Akron-Canton Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute are hosting a comprehensive discussion of Federal Rehabilitation Tax Credits and the Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credits. This panel discussion will feature some of the best preservation professionals in Northeast Ohio, including McDonald Hopkins’ Chad Arfons. The panel will review the process from the point of view of the designer, the financing and the owner. This event is a unique opportunity to see how the building preservation process is accomplished from all members of the team.

The past year has been dominated by news of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour and Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour but tickets have been incredibly difficult to come by. This is largely due to ticket scalpers, however, the Internal Revenue Service, IRS, is taking action to help concert-goers.

McDonald Hopkins tax attorney and Managing Member of the Cleveland office, David Kall, shared his perspective on how Ohio HB 33 overhauls taxes, impacting individuals and businesses, in a commentary article published by Crain's Cleveland Business.
